I capture the castle pages
As the photos show, there is chipping and tearing across top and bottom edge of jacket.
The dust jacket is only in fair condition in addition to the damp stain noted on rear there is a smaller one on front cover that appears not to have penetrated the jacket. FFL also contains pencilled notation of gift.The dust jacket is price clipped (all four corners of flaps). Aside from the damp stain the boards are very good. The damp stain also impacts final 5 leaves, 3 with text, 2 blank end matter. Damp stain on rear board (lower sixth, which contains an adhered transfer of about 1/2/inch square of paper from the dust jacket, a paper conservator could fix. The text block is clean, with no signatures or marks and very few signs of previous use.
